[17:45] When you READ the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier.
[17:46] And We have placed veils over their hearts so they do NOT UNDERSTAND IT, and deafness in their ears. And when you COMMEMORATE your Lord, in the Quran alone, they turn their backs and run away in aversion.
[17:47] We know best what they HEAR when they listen to you, and when they confer secretly, and when the transgressors say, "You are only following a bewitched man."
