This article is dedicated to the blessed memory of all the innocent people of all religions and belief systems who died at the hands of blind terrorism all around the world.
May God bless them all and help us to defeat terrorism wherever it may be and help us restore the true face of Islam: The face of peace, love, and respect of our neighbours.
As Muslims, the only shield we have against the reign of terror is to follow the Quran alone. The Quran condemns terrorism and promotes peace, freedom of faith, and respect for any human being on earth.
Saving the life of a human being is as important as saving the entire mankind:
(5:32) Because of this, we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. Our messengers went to them with clear proofs and revelations, but most of them, after all this, are still transgressing.
The Quran forbids unequivocally killing innocent people, especially randomly, even in times of war, which is the trademark of terrorists:
(4:94) O you who believe, when you go to war striking in God's cause, use your discernment, and do not, out of a desire for the fleeting gains of this worldly life, say to anyone who offers you peace, "You are not a believer"; for with God belongs abundant gains. You, too, were once in the same condition - but God has been gracious unto you. Use, therefore, your discernment: verily, God is always aware of what you do.
Terrorists act mercilessly, God condemns those who persecute others:
(26:130) And when you lay hands on people, you do so as tyrants.
Any human being has the right to choose his religion; Trying to convert people by force is the exact opposite of Islam:
(2:256) There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.
(16:125) You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who the guided ones are.
Judaism and Christianity, like many others, are very respectable religions; killing or persecuting people because of religious beliefs is unacceptable in the light of the message of peace:
(2:62) Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
As Muslims, we promote peace and goodness and our hearts shine with love for our neighbours:
(5:16) With it (the Quran), GOD guides those who seek His approval. He guides them to the paths of peace, leads them out of darkness into the light by His leave, and guides them in a straight path.
(19:96) Surely, those who believe and do good deeds, the Most Gracious will shower them with love.
In the light of these few Quranic examples, we, as God-fearing Muslims, condemn unconditionally any form of terrorism.
We, as Muslims, cannot be but heartbroken every time innocent people are killed. Christians, Jewish, Muslims, believers, non-believers: It makes no difference, as we, as human beings, are all the children of Adam and Eve and all belong to one and the same family.
To those who follow the path of radical Islam, fear God, repent, follow the pure Quran with your heart, and stop spreading cancer in the name of Islam and in the name of God. God will punish in this world and the hereafter those who spread chaos and terror on earth, blaspheming in the name of God.
(22:46) Did they not roam the earth: Don't they have hearts with which they reason, and ears with which they hear?! For indeed, the real blindness is not the blindness of the eyes, but the blindness of the hearts inside the chests.
Remember to always be kind and respectful to all.
Peace and Respect!
